from the movie Startrek VI "The Undiscovered Country".
Because the Kronos One model hasn't been released yet, we used the
POL950M/06 K'T'inga to design this kit, so you can use it in your K'T'tinga as well :)
This massive kit includes a special effect we call "Attacked Mode" for which the cloaked
Bird of Prey fires upon Kronos One. Also included is our "K'T'inga mode".
Board features circuits for startup sequence of all steady light, nav,
impulse engines, warp nacelles, and strobes. Blinking Nav and Strobe circuit
is accurately timed to the movie.
Forward and Aft Torpedoes tubes can be armed and disarmed.
Forward and Aft Torpedoes can be fired independently.
Kronos One has a third strobe included in kit but not shown how to install. We were
unable to find it's proper location, the movie showed a flash on the neck of the ship,
possibly above the Officers lounge.
Multiple modes for both buttons:
- Button 1 arms/disarms Torpedoes: fire forward torpedo: Attacked Mode: Ktinga mode.
- Button 2 arms/disarms Torpedoes: fire aft torpedo: Shut-off mode.
During shut-off mode, either button will restart up the system after waiting at least 5sec.
All connections made via 2-pin, 5-pin, and 8-pin header block using JST
connectors.
Powered by 9volt power supply either by battery or by a DC wall power
supply adapter. This setup makes your model very portable.
You may use 1 or 2x 9v batteries, 2 are not required but offer longer run time
especially when using the Radio control option.

- 1x Sound board with 2 speakers and harness.

Camera makes lighting look brighter and off color than how it actually looks.
The nacelle Grills seen in the video are 3D Printed by Steven Burn's,
the POL950M/06 K'T'inga model does not include them.

READ MANUAL BEFORE ASSEMBLY: The Plug-N-Play kit makes for a faster build with no soldering skills required. After reading Pin assignment for connections in the manual, you may completely test this kit right out of the box after installing a battery.
WARNING : The Legion board has both 5v and 9v connections. Failure to read the manual for proper light and sound connections could destroy certain LEDs.
Plugging the sound board into a 9v connection will destroy it requiring the purchase of a new sound board.
Optional 9v wall adapter.
This was left as an option so that those of you with a drawer full of power supplies wont have to purchase another one.
This option is recommended for those that want longer run time than batteries can provide.
Optional Radio control (RC)
option below can be added to provide 2 button activation control to
take the place of the onboard activation buttons. "C" controls button one, "D" controls button 2.
Adding the lighting kits pushbuttons is always recommended.
When ordering this option, your Legion board will have a wiring harness marked "RC".
Please order this option at the same time when ordering your light and sound kit. It can not be installed by the model builder.
Louis Luciano 3D RESIN printed Torpedo Tubes designed for
the Starling Torpedo LED harness.
These are highly detailed, clean resin 3D prints, requiring no clean up.
